Imagine what it's like for Christmas Day to be like any other day of the year ...

That's what many ladies and gentlemen living in aged care facilities experience on 25 December of each year. And that's what Boxes for Christmas seeks to redress because we believe that Christmas Day is a special day which should be celebrated with a gift.

Boxes for Christmas is an Australian charity which gives Christmas presents to those 'orphan' residents of aged care facilities who would not otherwise receive a gift. We raise money throughout the year to buy these presents and we need your support.

We run various functions throughout the year, including trivia nights, competitions, dinners and dances. We also have a dedicated group of supporters who run fund-raising activities or donate their services to help Boxes for Christmas deliver that special surprise to somebody who deserves it.

Imagine seeing the joyous smile on somebody's face as they unwrap their Christmas gift ... it's a moment of realisation that someone cares!
